No, it’s a standard digital camera.

You’ll need a professional camera (DSLR or SLR) to change the lenses.

sony vegas users like myself can just drag the video onto it. No conversion needed. It lacks in ISO noise though. The more ISO there is, the more distorted it gets.

You can not put filter on the lens. There is manual focus, and you can lock the focus by holding the trigger button down. However the video / filming is only auto focus.

You can’t put a lens on it, but it’s auto or manual focus.

But the manual focus isn’t on the lens like for SLRs. It’s a button control like for the exposure for instance.

How do I know? I have one. This is fauls advertising. someone coud watch this and buy one thnking it does full HD video. Thats not good.

With my current camera every time I take the batteries out the Date and some other features reset themselves. Does this camera do that? I know it is something so minuscule and somewhat specific of a problem, but it really urks me, especially when I try to get them set up in specific albums in iPhoto.

No. It remembers the time and date. It will ask what type of batteries were inserted but all other data is remembered.

  25. 25 jasonolsen99 says:

Nope, I’ve not had to reset the date/time for a long time with my batteries continously being taken out to recharge.
The only thing I get asked is the battery time, although even then I believe it remembers what you choose last time.
