   Then get the Sony T900. It isn’t as good as the TX1/TX7 though. The thing is that MPs aren’t a good indication for the picture quality.

   Maybe you can wait till the TX5 which will be out late february. Rumors say it’s waterproof and the numbering suggests it will be placed underneath the TX7. Also confirmed it that the TX5 will have a mono mic.

   awesome camera…I heard that 1080 video are a hassle to load in the computer cause it uses a different format.
   Another excellent camera coming out and probably the competition to this would be the Canon SD3500 IS. 14MP, 780P Video, 3.5 touch screen…It comes out March but you can see it at the canon website.
   I’m getting one of these two….Hopefully Best Buy get both soon so I can try both out!

    @revizcaino They have 2 types of 1080 HD. they 1080p 30fps is an easy upload and 1080i 60fps is difficult put it is also overkill for the average person

    @daysAnatomy No, but the TX5 is, and it’s more rugged. You mono mic on it tho. But it does pretty good. For low light quality and mic quality Youtube search;

    it’s actually a very nice camera! I’ve done a little research, it’s the only one in it’s class of compact digicams capable of recording in 1080, no other brand has achieved this that I know of.
